Come to honor the Solstice and Father/Sun archetypes with plants and flowers

In this special Lei-making workshop we will:
- Explore the SOLSTICE with Great Father mythologies from four diverse world cultures: Hawai`i, India, Japan, Greece
- Understand protocols for gathering & making lei
- Learn and practice the powerful wili-style of making lei — all levels and ages (10 years+) are very welcome!
- Create a a lei for yourself, your father, or your home
- Make meaningful connections

The Land we live on...
In the spirit of healing, historic colonial traumas, and reconciliation, I acknowledge the land and sacred medicine knowledge utilized in my herbal practice is due to Native wisdom and Indigenous tradition. Land is sacred, we share it with those who have cared for it before us, and those with the profound wisdom to maintain its power and medicines in perpetuity. On Kaua'i we acknowledge these lands were first cared for by ferns and flowers, trees and birds, and sea life; then the Kanaka Ōiwi and their descendants. The gifts of this 'Aina are profound and myriad -- we are humbled by the teaching and traditions of the peoples who are indigenous to her body.
